Hello Everyone! It has a been a crazy start of classes. Interesting it was the least stressed I have ever been in starting a semester, but on the other hand I was not feeling too well for the first week of classes. Also I was trying to makes CDs of pictures and videos for some friends, and upon putting a CD in my laptop nothing happened. The CD is not registering to be in my computer and I a can't eject it. So the fine people at Apple at Northstar Mall have my laptop until the part I need comes in.
Other than that things have been going great. Ministry is well. The friary life is good. My prayer life is fruitful. My classes are great. This semester I am taking 6 classes: Church Law, Theological Field Education (Ministering at Mount Sacred Heart Grade School Again), Liturgical Preaching (I am assigned Christmas Midnight Mass and the 3rd Sunday of Lent), Biblical Roots of Justice, Prophetic Literature, and Church and Ministry (Ecclesiology).
Well since I do not have my computer...pictures from the past 2 weeks will be up upon it's return! Have Blessed Sunday!
Peace be with you!

+Opa Gustav Budiarto
On Saturday January 16, Opa Gustav Budiarto died. Opa is the grandfather of my brother-in-law. He was a man who loved God, his family, model trains, bacon and Burger King. I have come to find out that he also loved Taco Bell and Steak; he actually was in search of the best steak in the world.
Above is a picture of Opa eating a Bacon Cheese Burger after coming back home after the hospital.
Below is a picture of the Budiarto family (Parents, Children, and Grandchildren and In-Laws) when I visited Indonesia two summers ago (I am the one who took the picture).
The last three pictures are of Opa's model train collection.

E-mails, E-mails, and more E-mails...
Well at the beginning of today I had 1034 e-mails in my inbox. Now not all of them were personal but many of them were from the Province about the health and well being of the friars. As you know I am a big fan of prayer requests, so I type them up, put them in a book, and prayer for them. At this moment I have gone through 168 of them. I have the time to do this because school has not started yet and because I am sick. I have watched 5 movies today and I am in the process of watching a sixth (Up, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Steel Magnolias, The Terminal and Up (a second time with the friar)).
Though I feel tired and groggy, I am still being productive.
Much Love and God Bless!
